On January 5th, 2021 – the University Hospital in Edmonton will officially announce the Dr. Mas Yukawa Award for Innovation in Workplace Wellness.
The announcement will be made by Dr Andrew Shaw, Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. His release will activate a call for applicants to begin submitting proposals to improve workplace culture up until the end of June 2021.
The announcement will mark the end of a 2 year journey between the University Hospital and the Yukawa Family. The Yukawa Family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Saifee Rashiq and Dr. Surita Sidhu for creating the award on behalf of the Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine and the University Hospital. Their passion and diligence have been instrumental in laying a solid and sustainable foundation and plan for years to come.
